First Subsidiary in Asia in 1972

With demand growing steadily in the markets concerned, Ronda established an initial foothold in Hong Kong, which was then still a British crown colony, in 1972. The Ronda Group’s first Asian subsidiary assembled watch movements: initially mechanical pallet and pin-pallet movements, and later quartz movements.

A regional sales hub

Some 20 years later Ronda transferred all its watch movement assembly activities from Hong Kong and China to Thailand. Ronda Ltd. in Hong Kong is now the Ronda Group’s Asian sales hub, serving customers primarily in the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East and the USA. - The Swiss Parts movements assembled in Thailand are also supplied via Ronda Hong Kong.

Ronda’s skilled and experienced seven-member sales team offers customers in Hong Kong and throughout China top-class service and technical support on all watch manufacturing issues.

As well as the geographical proximity, customer manufacturers in the region also appreciate the extensive flexibility of Ronda’s Asia-Pacific operation, which includes a well-organized local supplies warehouse that can meet even short-notice market needs.
