Supplier of turned parts for 40 years
It was to produce the axes and cannon pinions used in watch manufacture that cousins Gérard and Marcel Zwahlen originally founded their own company in Bévilard in the Jura region of Switzerland in 1974.
The small family business has developed steadily over the years, and currently employs nearly 30 personnel, in particular several highly-trained automatic setters or “décolleteurs” The company today produces a wide range of turned parts and pinions for the watch manufacturing sector.
For strategic reasons – to expand both its profile-turning capacities and its expertise – Ronda acquired its long-standing partner and supplier in 2007. This latest addition to the Ronda Group is now domiciled in Court (in Canton Jura), and is led by Serge Zwahlen, co-founder Gérard’s son.
